Return and Refund Policy<\/h1>

This Return and Refund Policy applies to purchases made on 2strokeliquor.co.za (the “Website”). It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions, which govern every order placed on the Website.<\/p>

All products on the Website are sold by The Johannesburg Distilling Company (Pty) Ltd (“JoDiCo”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a licensed liquor manufacturer holding micro-manufacturing licence number GLB7000014802 under the Gauteng Liquor Act 2 of 2003. JoDiCo is the merchant of record for every order, and all refunds are issued by JoDiCo, not by 2 Stroke Vodka.<\/p>

Payments on this Website are processed securely through our point-of-sale payment provider. We do not store your card details.<\/p>

2. Your statutory rights<\/h2>

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (“CPA”). Where this policy and the CPA differ, your CPA rights take precedence.<\/p>

3. Defective, damaged, or incorrect products<\/h2>

If your order arrives defective, damaged in transit, or is not what you ordered:<\/p>

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@joburgdistilling.com, including your order number and photos of the issue.<\/li>
  • We will arrange a replacement or a full refund, including reasonable return costs, at no expense to you.<\/li>
  • Please inspect your order on delivery and report any damage, breakage, or shortage within 48 hours, as set out in our Terms and Conditions.<\/li><\/ul>

    4. Change of mind<\/h2>

    Because our products are alcoholic beverages and returns raise hygiene and product-integrity concerns:<\/p>

    • We do not accept returns or refunds for change of mind once the seal on a bottle has been broken or the product has been partially consumed.<\/li>
    • Unopened, unsealed, and unused products may be considered for a change-of-mind return within 7 days of delivery, at our discretion, provided the product is returned in its original, undamaged packaging with proof of purchase. Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are your responsibility.<\/li>
    • This section does not affect your rights under Section 3 for defective or damaged goods.<\/li><\/ul>

      5. Age-related order cancellations<\/h2>

      Orders may be refused or cancelled where the recipient cannot provide valid proof that they are 18 years or older, whether at the point of sale or at delivery. Where this happens:<\/p>

      • If the order is cancelled before dispatch, you will receive a full refund.<\/li>
      • If delivery is refused due to a failure to verify age, we may deduct reasonable delivery and handling costs already incurred from your refund, as set out in our Terms and Conditions.<\/li><\/ul>

        • Approved refunds are typically processed within 7\u201310 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take a few additional business days to reflect the refund in your account.<\/li>
        • You will receive email confirmation once a refund has been processed.<\/li><\/ul>
